javadrinkerhotmail.com 4/16/10 . chapter 1 I never understood Michael Eddington's character. I felt he was just a character throw-in till DS9 could decide what to do about the Marquis. You have skillfully rounded his character to show more depth and a better depiction of why he joined. The only time I cared about his character was when he died and I felt bad. Thanks for making a fanfiction story enhance one of my favorite all-time shows. |
bina W 6/24/08 . chapter 1Fantastic story. You are a gifted with the pen. I assume (and could be wrong) but that to ask you to write another chapter would cheapen it. I still would really ask you write another chapter to The Most Deathless Love, of some sort. GIVE IT A TWIST. :) Make make it so that Janeway has to finally choose between him and Starfleet. Make her agonize over leaving her beloved Starfleet. In your story they both lost due to her being stubborn. Why can't she move to Donovan? She and her ship adapted. She forced a decision FOR both of them years ago. Now it is her turn to get a payback from Chakotay. Make him force her to choose. Hope ur not too mad at me. Please respond. ;) Bina |
Maquis 2/3/07 . chapter 1 Love the story. |
DianeB 6/21/06 . chapter 1I agree with Jean Griffin's assessment: Great Eddington backstory. You should have entered this one in Strange New Worlds. Still, I'm glad you didn't, because if you had, there's a pretty good chance I'd've never seen it. :) |
Paerign 6/23/04 . chapter 1I enjoyed the story alot. Eddington was one of my favorite storylines in DS9, I loved the fact that he died heroically and all of that. It would be interesting if you continued this story on to talk about his wife, rebecca sullivan, and his relationship with sisko, etc. Anyway, great job! |
RFK 2/12/03 . chapter 1Superb story! This backstory on Eddington's decision to join the Maquis, is one that DS9 had failed to provide viewers. Thank goodness we have this story. |
nukerliu 1/31/03 . chapter 1excellent story. well written, and if i were in eddington's place in your story, maybe that woman would have persuaded me! |
