this is fantastic. i almost didn't read it because i'm not a fan of the "you" point of view, but i'm glad i did. zeke is probably the most fascinating character of the group, and the way you wrapped things up post-movie are very realistic. i think you have a good grasp of his character, or at least a grasp on how other people see him. and this: "Zeke knew better, and he took what was good, what he didn't care about enough. He did what you've both been doing for years, he dumbed himself down, failed a test, subtly let people know he was a lesbian." made me laugh. looking forward to seeing more facultyfic from you.

I really, really enjoyed your peice. It's cold realism at it's best. I like how you didn't keep the happy ending like the movie did, well, you know what I mean right? Delilah and Stan dumping their movie partners, it's just too damn realistic and I love it.
