You're a great writer, but I'm sorry to say I detest the plot.

Aww [insert 4 more Ws because FF.net stinks]. Beautiful story. And you only have 20 reviews for 19 chapters. Do you know what? I can't believe that. I have read a LOT of Lord of the Rings fanfics in my time here on Fanfiction.net, and I hold this in 3rd place. That's saying a lot, considering 1st place was "Into Your Arms" and 2nd "The Wall That Fell".
Maybe it's beacuse it is a Theodred romance. And people don't look for Theodred romances. I wasn't. I found your story because I had an idea for a story but I wanted to see how many stories were like it. Searched for "half orc" in the summary. Well, enough of my rambling on how dissapointed I am about the number of reviews you've gotten.
And on to what I love about the story. There has to be a lot of things that I love. I love your style of literature. I love how you have shown Elana as such a developed character. She certainly has a lot of feeling and a lot of depth. Again, better than many characters I have seen. I also love your/her views on keeping her half-orcen child, even when so many persuaded her not to. I am pro-life, and I assume you are too. If you aren't (I would find that quite strange) I have nothing against you. Lastly, my favourite moment in the story. Her singing. Absolutley beautiful. It fits. It triggers everything. And I could hear it. I really really felt her voice in my head. No I am not crazy. And I can still hear it. And see. I can see the field, and the grating, and her pale face behind it, and hear her voice quaver- she sings low and sad and slow.
I'm sorry. Maybe I am crazy. Even so, that has to have been my favourite part, and I will always remember that moment in your story. This story /will/ stay with me the rest of my life.
No suggestions for you. No way you could fix it. Amazing and beautiful in every single way.
I will certainly suggest this story to my friends, and it's going on my favourites list. And so are you, on my favourite authours list. I will try out your sequel, but I like this as it stands alone.

Your story is great. I really love it. And sorry for not writing earlier. I hope you will write a sequel to it about Elana and Deore. To see how their life will go on and if Elana´s dream-visions come true.

And it is interesting if thinking more deeply about the creating of Saruman´s Uruk-Hai. As though I like the way it is solved in the movies the way you describes it is the more likely. I think Tolkien has said something like that orcs get their children like everone else. And to get half-breeds this is the only way.

This is an awesome story. It's really sad that everyone hates all the orc babies just caus their, well part orc. This story is so not a mary-sue. It would be even more awesome if you did a scquel. Write forever

It is rare to find such a vital and original story. Elana is the most realistic and engaging original character I've read. You write with such passion and realism that I couldn't help but be sucked in from the first sentence. I can't wait to see where you take the plot. I'm probably going to be checking every day for more updates! Thank you so much for writing such an amazing story.

the plot thickens! YAY! i fell really bad, knowing that Theodred dies.*sob* At least we know (or at least HOPE) that the baby's gonna be okay.
