That was amazing... Thank you for writing this! I've always felt that Owen got a raw deal, with everyone thinking he was some sort of a tyrant with Luke. But I believed it was just his way of loving and protecting his nephew.

Beru's was still a lovely fic, but I liked Owen's as well. I've been trying to write an Owen fic for months but haven't been able to make it work. You've done so brilliantly.

this is a really great story.. it really goes int Owen's adn beru's emotions.. and i can see how they would be thinking this Owen.. afraid Luke'll end up like Anakin which in itself isnt such a bad thing.. Anakin was a great guy until he was seduced. and Beru just wanting what Luke wants for himself.. as long as hes happy, shes happy. Very good lil story!

Ah ha, it all makes sense now. When I first read this I was getting Beru's chapter as chapter one AND two. Now I see Owen. Previous review applies - great work! :)

I'm really enjoying this fic. So much so that I typed in the URL for the second chapter as there was no button (happens sometimes, very annoying), only to find the second chapter a repeat of the first. Just thought I'd better make you aware of this in case you didn't know. And now, the review: Excellent work! This is beautifully written - Beru doesn't get nearly enough written about her, she's a fascinating character and you've done her justice. Keep it up! :)

O how sad! This was beautifully done. I'm glad to see a fic that gets inside Beru's head. This story had a bit of foreboding, I like that. Nice work.
