Touching. It might just be that I've been reading a rather dark mystery, but it sounds a little… oh, how to word it… flat? [sigh] I need to work on my stylistic vocabulary. That's not right…

Okay, how's this? Since it's from a movie and you already know they're deeply in love, you don't have any background to it. The reader is plunged into the fact w/out any explanation. Perhaps you could have Arwen recall their first meeting in Lórien. And then Aragorn, trying to stay strong, could think back to Elrond's lectures. I know you reference them, but I think flashbacks would be more effective, even if you just use single statements.

Well, there's the long-winded version. I don't think I'm missing any details I was looking for, this time… Because I wasn't looking for any details!

Never mind. That was a bad one.

And I wonder why my family says I don't have a sense of humor. Keep up writing! :)

That was really really sweet. I have always imagined that more happened after she refused to take back the Evenstar. I have always beleived that there was one thing that would mwke Arwen leave Rivendell and never look back, if Aragorn said that he no longer loved her, she would have nothing to live for. I have a feeling that Elrond wanted Aragorn to say that to her, except it was the one thing Aragorn could never tell her. I think it would break his heart if he dared to utter those cruel words. I thought the song was pretty and just the whole story made sense, please continue the story.

Beleive it or not, before I read your story I imagined that something like that happened. Your story was so romantic that I felt like I was melting into the chair. I am Dying to read chapter 2.

NO! Aragorn! Estel! Do'nt say goodbye... Don't say that is the end... that it was just a dream... *is caught up in the moment* So sad...

It is very inspirational - reading this, I feel like writing a Lord of the Rings fic. ^^ But you did a *WONDERFUL* job on portraying Aragorn and Arwen's feelings towards each other.
