Akane and Ranma are, so obviously, much more mature in your story than they are in the anime/manga. I prefer the manga, I think, but I love watching the anime (I have not seen all of it yet, though).

That scene was most definitely something that could have gone in another direction, had the family not been peepin' in on them. Poor kids! Given a couple of years, I'm sure things would change eventually.

I've read this before but wasn't able to leave a review because I am basically just a reader and didn't have a login. However, after coming across this story again while I surfed the web for any other Ranma stories, I couldn't help but ponder how much I have enjoyed this story after all this time. I too liked that particular scene (among others) and I had hoped that others could have used that scene in story wherein we have a hopefully more mature Ranma and Akane.
I am sad that apparently you haven't wrote more RAnma stories, still though, I just wanted to express my thanks for this particular piece.

A good story! It was cute, and yeah, that scene is so good! I like it better in the manga, though. I agree that if the family would stop butting in and leave Ranma and Akane alone, they would have gotten together much sooner.
