Intersting ficlet.Nice perspective.

An interesting little snippet! I do think Spike would have regrets after that episode, and I enjoyed this peek into his head.

Well.It's good, but Spike's POV is a little off, I mean, this is spike and as much as we love him we must admit (yes and I will admit that I sound like I'm talking in the third person) that he's a little.narsasitic. He thinks he's the only one with a tough life, he THINKs he's the only one to have lost someone he loves. He would never regret anything he did and he would never feel pity for anyone, maybe a strange companionship but in the end his pain will always over-shadow what he sees others suffering from. It's part of why he felt he was always in a dream, and the part that pushed him to wake from that dream. Theres spoilers for the end but bite me they're vague.

I like it! It really sounds like Spike's thoughs...deep and kind of brooding, you know?
I think you should write more of Spike's thoughts....
