 hochexplosiv 2009-11-01 . chapter 27I loved it. |
Rose Stonewall 2009-10-28 . chapter 27 All I can say is...
this is one of the best stories I have read.
this story kept me up far, far past my bedtime.
this story is amazing.
if only fanfiction was an acceptable genre for publishing... because you would be famous, as much as someone who wrote such a stupendous story deserves to be.
nothing more needs to be said. |
Myra Cullen 2009-10-18 . chapter 4I'm very much enjoying how this story is developing! I think you have adeptly captured the warmth of Dumbledore and Hermione's relationships with Harry and Ron. Many HG/SS fics disrupt her friendships with the boys - I like that this one (so far, at least) preserves them. I'm looking forward to reading more! |
B 2009-10-15 . chapter 27 This is my second reading of Heart over Mind, and I must say it is truly, very excellent writing. The "slow build" must have taken so much patience, and you succeeded. I loved the characters, and the ease with which this story fits with the overall feel of the world which Rowling created. I know this is a short review, but I merely wished to extend my compliments and gratitude for a wonderful story. I do love a good story. |
mynewgenesis 2009-10-14 . chapter 27I just have to say - this was quite possibly the most amazing, brilliantly written, absolutely romantic thing I have ever read. Ever. Even beyond the world of fanfiction... Like, ever ever. I completely fell in love with both characters, and it was so ridiculously realistic, every scene made me love Snape even more! I know Snape wasn't really all that canon, at all, but I don't even think it matters. He was just so lovable it hurts. So thank you, thank you, thank you for writing such a wonderful story... It was well worth the three days of sleep deprivation and lack of attention in my classes. You are very talented and I commend you. :)
With many thanks and stuff,
Alex.

Witchy-grrl 2009-10-11 . chapter 27Ah...--> ::happiest sigh EVER:: That was so unbelievably satisfying. :P This slow-like-honey progression of their relationship was so well-written and perfectly balanced, and I really must applaud you for never exploring the sexual side--yet, you managed to paint these incredibly seductive and SEXY scenes where I just have to fan myself imagining the kisses. Just...::happy HAPPY sigh:: :D
Definitely a favorite! And quite possibly the first non-M-rated HG/SS full-length fic I've enjoyed so very, VERY much. :P It's indecent, really. |
Witchy-grrl 2009-10-10 . chapter 20OMFG that was just brilliantly done. The anticipation building up was quite expertly done, and amidst the anxiety was the OMFGLOLOLOL I had with Severus Snape babble!lecturing and attempting to avoid the reveal = AH IT WAS PERFECT!
:D And now...dude, he's going to screw it up, isn't he? :P |
Witchy-grrl 2009-10-10 . chapter 16So I've been steadily chugging along reading this, and I realized that I don't think I reviewed up until now. :( My apologies! This was like crack. Deliciously thick and chewy dark chocolate crack, I couldn't stop reading. :P
But I just HAD to comment on this particular chapter because LOL HOMG you captured both of their POVs so brilliantly and HILARIOUSLY. Hermione not sure if she should kill Remus = SO CUTE. Remus storming in for tea with Severus = HYSTERICAL. Severus firmly deciding not to say goodbye and then FLYING DOWN THE HALLS ALL BATLIKE to find her = I DIED. :D
::hopefully off to finish this tonight!!:: |
Happy Reviewer 2009-10-10 . chapter 27 Fabulous. I really enjoyed this story; I still overall don’t really like the pairing. However your writing is brilliant which is the reason I'm actually leaving a review - something I don’t usually do. I really like the way you write. I was delighted when you revealed, in an author’s note, that the three things which led to your fabulous use of the English language included The Elements of Style by White and Strunk (which I am currently reading on and off to try and improve my terrible use of English – so I can see I have obviously gone to a good source). In fact the main reason I actually continued to read your story was for your writing, I couldn’t get enough of it. The witty exchanges between characters, the interesting plot line, the slow building to the end (but not too slow - some authors have lost me due to frustration at the refusal of characters to accept their obvious emotions!), you managed the characterisation really well. I loved all the characters of Hermione’s family especially her ‘favourite aunt’, Dumbledore was fabulous. Well I could go on for a while :) Overall the story captured me irrevocably, I laughed, I almost cried and I absolutely enjoyed every moment of it. So I want to say thank you for your story, well done and your writing is brilliant. |
 Half-Blood Metamorphmagus 2009-10-08 . chapter 27Hey!
This was an amazingly great story! Truly realistic and one of the bests I've read. Well written, perfectly described and very detailed, but the reality to it is really the best! Thank you for sharing this fic! This was the best read I've had in a while. :D
Keep up the good work and don't stop writing! =D |
Fernsfairie 2009-09-27 . chapter 27I really liked this story and had a great time reading it. :] I hope you continue to write and follow little plotlines wherever you mind takes you.
Love,

gothic duck 2009-09-26 . chapter 1This was really good. |
Lanetha Mercion 2009-09-20 . chapter 27This is an excellent story. I particularly enjoyed Hermione's family and the slow, very real build of their relationship.-the two things you tried hard to do, I'd say you succeeded in. All of your characters were great. I particularly like your Snape. Great story.
Thank you for writing and posting it. |
Lilly Rae 2009-09-08 . chapter 27Reading an amazing story straight through (almost, given on the time I have) is one of the simple pleasures that I love in life. Your story was too amazing and perfect for words. I loved that plot and the little details that you seem to have so effortlessly created (although I know, speaking as a writer that it is usually not so effortless) just make the story come alive. I loved that one last part particularly. "Hermiine could hear forever in every breath and touch they shared, in every look and caress". That part particularly gets me. Just the simple elegance in your words as I have read them captivate me. Although I must admit that the letter chapters graited a bit on my nerves. This is a very compelling story. It's as if... I don't know. All I know is that you are a lovely writer and I really enjoy your work. This is one of, if not definitely, the best story I have read. |
