A happy Athrabeth fic - well, yes, of course Andreth and Aegnor must have felt happy, too, while being in love. It's so easy to forget this and to remember only the tears and the tragedy. Thanks for the reminder!

Oh, and apart from the sweet romance, I liked the way you made Aegnor distrustful of the strength of the Siege; makes him smarter than normal.

Very nice vignette. As it's a regrettable thing when the Enemy robs people of their music, I was happy to see Andreth give Aegnor back his, and adding love. A pity that we know from the Athrabeth (found in HoMe 10, by the way) that it didn't last.

Finally! A First Age romance with a happy ending - for the time being anyway, since we all know *how* it turned out at the end. Very nice!
