I finally had to read this because I'd heard so much about this. And what can I say? You're the Gundam Wing master!

The pacing of this story is just excellent. If it were printed, it would be a page-turner. The drama, the romance, the political intrigue... this is one of the few true GW epics on this whole darn website. I was riveted.

Like some reviewers have said, I wasn't thrilled with the idea of Heero as a sports star, either, but I accepted it because all of the mangas have Heero becoming a "typical" college student after the wars, and even the anime depicted him as a natural athlete. Why not flesh that out a bit and have him become a professional player? Plus I'm a huge soccer fan, so the idea of Heero playing it had me giddy. _

Another thing I like about your stories; you always keep all of the Gundam pilots so in character, and yet so believable as people. When I read this, I pictured the characters as actual human beings rather than their anime counterparts, like I was watching a live-action movie. You've managed to make them all so real. I especially love the way you write Wufei and Trowa... I've seen their personalities butchered so many times. You give them some of the best treatment... for a moment, I wanted Relena to run away with either one of them! It makes me wish there was another strong female lead in Gundam Wing that could be coupled with either of them... Alas, I don't think there is (Sally is too old for Wufei, I think, and Catherine is Trowa's sister!).

I first read your story when I was about twelve or thirteen, I think. I'm twenty years old now and Traitor to the Cause is still one of my favorite Gundam Wing fanfics. You did a marvelous job. :)

all in all would have to give this story a 3/5. some parts were good and other parts pissed me off. For me i not really see Heero just taking a back seat and not really doing anything about the situation. Other points about the story irked me, like heero playing soccer and the fact that Relena was more anti social than heero was in the series, but it is up to the author to decide how they want to write the story and you did that so i must applaud you for your skills as a writer and while I would not call this my favorite fan-fiction nor did i like the story enough that i will favorite it, but i will say that i did enjoy reading it and it gave me a few ideas for the Gundam Wing fan-fiction that i am writing now so i thank you for that.

Hahaha! Epic! I kid you not, the story as a whole was good. Noteworthy, but the ending...THAT was EPIC! Lol. :)

Another story I HAD to find on my return to fanficdom! This is without a doubt my favorite GW fanfic, maybe my favorite fanfic at all!

I think what I like most is that it is a switch from most Heero/Relena fics in that it is Heero who is in the position of "weakness" in the relationship. You usually see him saving the day and the damsel in distress but in this work he is the one behind the eight ball, so to speak, and the damsel sticks her neck out for him. You protray Relena as I tend to imagine her; showing her inner strength and un wavering dedication to the world and to those around her but crumbling to pieces every so often when she is alone.

This is a really well done piece, I can't say that enough!

i've been a fan of this site since i was 15yrs old and that was 5 years ago. i really animes with interesting story and yeah with guys playing macho and trying to hide their real feelings for the their special girls. those people claiming to be matured at my age perhaps will not understand my fondness of these things. i don't know. maybe because i also like writing, i love reading, i like romance and humor and adventure. still child at heart. watching good anime series makes me happy. you know i am actually a nurse by profession, a team leader to be specific and i cannot imagine the reaction of my team if they will know about this. reading makes me feel relaxed and forget for a while stuffs that bothered and stressed me. i signed up just because i wanted to leave a comment. it has been a while since my last visit to this site because of my hospital duties. and i am glad i did visit. gundam wing is one of my favorites and after i read 'traitor to a cause' and some other heero and relena fanfictions, i realized and remembered how brokenhearted i was especially years ago with the way the anime series ended and even the manga showing heero trying to be intimate with relena did not comfort my feelings. i just hope that the group who made this anime possible will try to make a movie about them. i think they owe it to heero and relena to bring them together for real. because actually, i am feeling the pain of wanting to be together but you can't. i will be vry much excited and thrilled if that happens especially with the technology we have today for sure they will come up with something great if ever..

anyway i was really taken by with heero and relena fanfictions that i ead tthrough this site esp.'traitor to the cause'. it made me remember the feeling of delight seeing the two together expressing their feelings through actions. and yes. i remembered the old time crush that i harbored for our perfect soldier who loved pretending he doesn't feel. i would like to commend you. like what i've said i just signed in to send a message and i hope you will be able to read this. thank you very much for sharing your talent in writing. the flow of the story and details were perfect and well constructed. you made me really happy and eager to read more of relena and hero from you or even to other anime couples that i like. i hope you still continue to write since i noticed that this fanfic was ended year2001. your cretion mede my heart ache for the characters, mede me thrilled and anxious with suspense because i had no way of figuring what will happen next unles i finished reading fast just to transfer to the next page and yes you made me feel the joy of loving. i don't know if this will mean anything to you, but congratulations! you did a great work. i never tried making my own fanfic but i can say im a writer and a wide reader myself and it is rare for me to admire a writter this openly. with the 5 years i'm visiting this site every once in a while, this is the first time that i actually had my way and expressed admiration to a writer's work in this site. you made me happy and i hope you continue making other readers of this site too.
