This might sound odd but honestly, this story has made my entire week better. I have a health problem that consumes my mind all the time so I always crave quality stories to get lost into, and this story does amazingly well in that regard. I love how intelligently you write and the seamless manner in which you blend all the different storylines and flashbacks together. The characters feel so real to me and the detail makes me feel like I'm right in the scene. It has such a beautiful effect. I love love love the passion you emphasize between them. Ugh I'm quite jealous of Lily/Isobel. I'm so grateful for having found this wonderful story. I was getting sick of wading through crappy Mary-suish Legomances, but now I'm glad I did, because it led me to this gem I will always come back to read. Thank you.

I'm stunned at how few reviews this amazing brilliant compelling beautiful stunning story has. I loved that you made their relationship realistic, making them behave stubbornly and angrily and not always easily forgiving. The conflicts you created were so refreshing and they made total sense! I'm more in love with Legolas now than I've ever been before thanks to this. lol. Please complete At Last. The plot and characters are too compelling to be left alone without any closure. Seriously one of the absolute best legolas/oc stories i have ever read. I'm planning on reading it many more times. I just wish you will finish At Last also. Take care!

Congrats, and did I mention how much ya'll kick booty? ]: There are a few tropes that folks always warn against: soul-mates, short-term amnesia, and arranged marriages are three. However, those warnings should come with an out clause: all these things can become magical if they're done correctly. And you two sold me completely. Part of it is pacing: nothing in this piece felt rushed. Part of it, of course, is characterization. Isobel is a strong character, easy to believe and believe in. More than any of that, though, your plot choices are impressive. You never took the easy way out, even at the end. That's what made this story feel real and not-entirely-happy-ending-ish.

HOLY **!! That was such a great story, but, it made me cry so many times, because it reminded me of my last relationship. Which means it was really extremely wonderful. I like the way she wasnt sad, but kept it as a memory, unfortunately for me, im still sad...but getting better. This truly has been the best fanfic i have EVER read, ever ever. Write, more, the fic world would be a much happier place ;)

Wow. Just, wow. That is one of the most beautiful, intense, sad love storys ever. I loved it! But, you should concider writing a sequel, something where Isobel and Legolas get back together. I know that might ruin the whole thing, but it is such a beautiful, sad story! EVERYONE WANTS ISOBEL AND LEGOLAS THOGETHER! Please?!

Ah...I see it now. Her departure from Rivendell makes a lot more sense now; I would probably have made the same decision, if I saw things the way she did. If he doesn't think he will return from his quest, then what *is* the point in staying where the world is only temporarily safe?

I'm so very glad that you two posted this; the story seems much more complete now. But...now that you've said the word "prologue", I'm all kinds of eager for a sequel! I'd love to see what happens when Legolas arrives in Gondor with Gimli and Aragorn; will he find Isobel there? What will their reactions be? Will there be a happily ever after, or just a bittersweet ending? I truly hope you both decide to continue this!
