Awesome Awesome story! Rukato is so awesome! I think Ruki was pretty much in character. It's hard to tell what she really feels about these kinds of emotions after that flashback of singing to her dad on the swing. Your writing was great and of course using an awesome song always helps! Keep up the great work! Rukato forever!

I see what you mean, I'm not overly fond of your style either. But there's potential there, to be sure. You plot good things. And people that stress about their writing too much encounter problems, so be careful of that too. Whatever it is, if you don't have fun with the way that you're writing, then you'll be stumped without fain in the end

Ahh, looks like someone beat me to the Runaway Digimon Express-based fanfic. *bows* Simply amazing work. Runaway Digimon Express is the only Digimon movie I will watch an infinite number of times, and this alternate ending is not only plausable but executed in most elegant of fashions. 10 out of 10. I did always think, however, that Ruki wasn't so ** at her father, more saddened. But to each his/her own.

Loved the fic. I'm a big fan of rika takato romances. they make make a good couple. Writ again. I might just write one of my own some day.

I'm currently writing a songfic to Yuuhi no Yakusoku myself (in German, though), so I just *had* to read this one- and I really didn't regret it.
Okay, call me a fluff-addict, but I simply can't critisize Ruki being so OOC, since I just adored it ^^
But of course, it was a bit foreseeable, even if I haven't seen the movie so far (and God knows, I'd kill to get to see it...)
But anyway, excellent fic! Keep it up!

At least you admit that Ruki's out of character here. And people acting out of character is just the problem here. There are so many stories that have Ruki go crying into the arms of whatever character she may be paired with for that fic that it's really become too cliche and overused. Not to mention it's something Ruki likely wouldn't do in the first place in most circumstances.

As well, Runaway Digimon Express is one of my favorite Digimon movies. I've watched it more times than all of them combined, probably. And I REALLY find the ending to be nice, as it's a higher testament to Takato's friendship towards Ruki than what is portrayed here. I really don't think it was JUST Renamon that made him turn away towards the end. I honestly believe he decided it'd be best to just leave her to her thoughts. Being her friend, and knowing when to let her be, is something that is sadly lost here.
