I feel I must say I disagree with you on the man-for-man line, but you know, I don't really want to argue about it. We all have our opinions, after all. :)

Aslan's words were truly inpsiring. It is a shame though that a place where comments are suppose to reflect the author's work (not beliefs) has become a place of moral debate.

If it is such a big deal, consider this- I am a devout Catholic, but I do not take every word of the Bible literally. The Bible was written by men, inspired by God. God did not write the Bible and therefore no one can say for sure what kind of love is real "love". The important thing is that we love others as we love ourselves and that we love with all our heart, mind and soul.

Wow... that was a great story! They are still my favorite pairing. You are a fantastic writer! You really made things clear and lots of detail, but not overwhelming so. I CANNOT WAIT TO READ MORE!! You should writ more Lucy/Tumnus pairings! :D

"Pathos" seems like too wan a word. I enjoy this pairing immensely, but there are so few good stories that I must must must review when one is as exquisite as this and so precisley treads the line between the strangely beautiful and the grotesque. This story stands out even more among its brethren because of its generous, kind, and loving heart. In that, your story evokes Lewis far more genuinely than other stories that are merely canon-accurate or clever. Thank you so much for writing this!

That was quite a lovely fic. :) I only watched the Narnia movie today, and haven't read any of the books, but I fell in love with Tumnus. Such a kind heart. :) So now I'm looking for fic about Tumnus, mainly fics dealing with Tumnus and Lucy. And this was quite sweet! I'm also a HP fan so I will probably check out that story of yours. Aside from some very minor grammatical errors, I think you're a very talented author. Keep it up!

I can't quote everything Lewis writes about homosexuality, but he had a very compassionate view towards people who feel homosexual desire. He struggled with disordered sexuality himself (masochism). But he never pretended that disordered sexual acts were just, or that romantic love excuses everything.
That rather marred the story for me because it was so non-canon.
But I loved the rest of the story.

Personally...I think this story has been written beautifully. To me, Tumnus and Lucy isn't such an odd couple...They're probably my favorite couple, in fact, despite all the differences (Age, species, etc.). The relationship between these two, in my opinion, is quite beautiful and much more then we perceive it to be.

I think you got their personalities right on target which made me happy. This story pulled at my heartstrings in many ways. I was smiling, heck, I even shed some tears. I found myself rooting, as I always am, for Mr. Tumnus and Lucy.

You write amazingly and this story is very touching.

This story was so sad! I was crying by the end. I was hoping for a happy ending for Lucy and Tumnus, but it was a beautiful story all the same.
