And I cry and am saddened for all those young people and those who are not so young who can not see a future and only see death as a means to end their human journey. It is that pain that you have portrayed so well through this portion of your story.

whoa nice huge difference between alternative endings in my opinion but that is by no means a bad thing

yeah, i liked the first ending better... not that i have a problem with slash, its just that the first ending was so much more... well, more. i dunno, i just really felt compelled by the other ending, like it just fit somehow. Either way, i totally dig your writing and must express my joy at having discovered such wonderful stories :D

hm...i like your endings very much, though i must say the suicide one is the best i think...
i know i have some suicide tendencies and i like the way you discribed harry's wish to look beautiful in death...
though i must also admit that this ending hit me unprepared... i didn't know you would end it that way so i was quite relieved for the alternate endings...
(but i think 573 years to live are a quite long time dont you think?! i mean 100 years are long enough... and flamel became about 600... and i dont really think that snape would last that long without "his harry"...but this only casually mentioned...)
other than that i like your story in general, but i didnt really get that thing with ron... you mentioned that he, too, was blackmailing harry but what was the end with it, and where were hermione at that time??

Okay, I'm confused because in the last story, Dumbledore already told Snape that the Hat originally wanted to sort Harry into Slytherin, it was while Harry was at St. Mungo's I believe, but now here he's acting like he never knew that...
