This was an absolutely breathtaking story that really had me captivated the first few paragraphs i read, It's got a great flavor and i love the desity of it, its really something else, something its own, and thats really great in a story! keep it upp.

Please write more soon! I'm loving the Kurama-Hiei interaction... Kurama's just chattering away nonstop and Hiei's dead on his feet, trying to keep up with whatever Kurama's saying. It's adorable. I'm hoping we get some more development on Kurama soon, it's fun listening to him. ^_^ Good work on this story! I'll be checking it for updates.

Even though they've only just met, I get the feeling Hiei has the beginnings of a childhood crush on Kurama. (Probably just me reading too far into Hiei's train of thought... But come on, he compared Kurama's laughter with bells.) That would be "aww"-inspiringly cute.

Cheesy puns aside, I really enjoyed this. You managed to take Hiei and Kurama and show them as they would have been as kids - childish, but still intelligent. Most authors who try for childhood and/or chibi fics make the characters cutesy and exagerratedly naive. Kids aren't nearly as clueless as authors seem to think.

As for the non-con... Hiei treats it like any other injury and doesn't seem to realize it's more serious than that. Kurama knows that what happened to him is bad and tries to pretend it didn't happen. I'm not sure how Kurama would react if he found out Hiei went through the same thing... Would he be upset with himself for being babyish (Hiei brushed it off like it was just a scraped knee), or would he feel bad for Hiei because he doesn't even understand what happened? It's hard to tell.

PLEASE continue soon. I want to see where this is going.

wow... I read the first chapter. My eyes were like glued to the screen when I read and I was so surprised when the chapter ended, didn't even think of anything while reading it I was so focused. Wish I could write like that but I'll go read the rest of this. I'm interested where the story's going.

The rampant child abuse scares the heebie-jeebies out of me, but since it takes drastic and dark things to trigger a mutant power... You did a great job of getting the fear/confusion and just the feeling of it through.

Hiei is NINE?! His age accounts for his shortness, but his ability to take down the people harming Kurama must've been due to his mutant ability.

ah so that was the big meeting. and it made sense that hiei could only think that kurama was being tortured...since he has no sense of what a sexual attack was, rape. he did not recognize rape when it happened to him. i liked their interaction, so new and budding with something awesome.

and i know im a slow idiot...but i just realized while re-reading chapter 2. Hiei first used his Jagan against his foster father...turned the mans lust for Yukina onto himself...O.O

Meaning hiei was raped in Yukina's place, voluntarily.

Only YOU would see the amazing character that is Hiei.
