Aa! That was beautiful! The whole story...just wonderful. Out of all the 1/2/1 fanfics I have ever read, I love this one the most. Your portrayals of the characters are touching, profound, and...just amazing. I also adore the idea of Duo being an artist as well as a mechanic! Wonderful story!!

What if Relena sent Heero money to buy Duo a ring, as just a parting gesture. To make him understand that she doesn't want him to be a caged bird with her, but to be free. (Or, if you look at marriage as a cage, not caged with her but caged with Duo). Goodly writtens!

As much as I enjoy the occasional session of Relena-bashing, I am quite pleased by this ending, and have greatly enjoyed the fact that she came to accept in her own terms the situation instead of being the typically portrayed bitch about it. It is nice to be able to read a piece where one of your favourite couples get together, and the normally overly misinterpreted and bashed character gets to fit in with it all in a kind way. It is endings like these that make me want to read more of characters like Relena being nice for the cause instead of always against it. Though there is a need of the 'enemy', so to speak, almost better to leave that to an original character. So, in other words, I really liked the way you ended this for Relena. Great work.

i always wondered if anyone would show relena as being homophobic. she's not that PERFECT person that everyone shows her to be.
