G'day mate! Rest assured it is a good fic. Fantastic vocabulary, particuarly Leon's grouching over teenage hoodlums, and nice way to pick up the pieces for a new series! However the thing that detracted most from the story, and in fact made it a real pain to read was the formatting. My suggestion is to reupload this chapter with double line breaks between normal paragraphs and perhaps a collection of symbols between scen changes to make easier for the readers. For example.

“Com link on.” He commanded. In response, a small projection of a phone-like object appeared. “Uh... LieutenantColonelAckerman, please.”

The officer’s ever-stern face appeared in place of the phone.“What the hell is it this time, Nealson?” Ackerman’s voice sounded through the com link.

“We have a stray, sir!” Boomed Nealson in reply.

“Well, what is it?”

Nealson consciously checked around, nearly forgetting the fact most of the jet ran on voice command.

That will make all the difference. And although I adore Daley, I hope he makes a few cameos, Gary's addition should be quite interesting.
I hope the lack of reviews, because of BGC fanfiction community is small, doesn't deter you from writing. I look forward to what happens next!

This story is very short, and I must admit, that I didn't liked it very much. However, I have a comment which you might find useful: If this is Bubblegum Crisis reality, all this going on somewhere between 2030 and 2040, so why your main characters use such old weapons as Desert Eagle or UZI?
