I loved Violation so much, and I'm SO glad you incorporated it into the main story. I'd always considered it a sort of epilogue in between updates.

Oh god, I know what that means... and it really cheers me up. It'll be like Sam Lowry's fate in Brazil, which was FAR more merciful than that which befell Winston Smith in 1984. If I'm wrong, forgive me, but I know you researched this.

I only just recently started reading this fic. In fact, it's been less than a month since I first read JtHM. So I'm pretty new to the whole fandom and nothing I say really matters but HOLY @?$!! this story is so good.

Ok first impressions: I love how you write a Nny/Edgar fic and resist the urge to make Johnny less umm... mental for the sake of giving Edgar a happy ending. I love how you tie Edgar into the original story, he affects it subtly but noticably, if that makes any kind of sense. I love Scriabin. Just Scriabin. I've never wanted to punch a fictional character so much.

But I've gone all babble-y so I'll just focus on this most recent chapter for a few last lines. God. Watching (reading?) Edgar slide into madness is just the single most painful thing ever. More then a few echoes of your diary fic here as well, I think. You know things are getting rough where the universe where you got brutally pulled apart to death was the nicer one.

Holy fuck it's an update. O_O And a disturbing one, as I have come to expect and anticipate from this story. (Man, I've been reading this since before it had even ten chapters. I'm not sure if this makes me feel old or awesome.) Keeping everything strictly dialogue made some parts very confusing, but that was rather the point, wasn't it? ...Honestly, the happy glow I'm feeling from there actually being a new chapter is keeping me from being able to think of much to say. So I'll go with Hallmark platitudes. "Great job!" "Keep up the good work!"

ughh this is so perfect. absolutely amazing. the part where johnny said that he was wearing edgar's jacket, ugh, just. i can't wait for the next chapter.

... Oh wow. The music really helps. Did you use short, long or medium? I always feel really uneasy and weirded out duringafter reading your Scri-verse fics. That's a good thing. I strive for it myself and my Lily drabble seemed to hit it okay but in a more of a normal, safe way because that's the only thing I can write and I'm babbling.

O.O Now I've got to wait for the next chapter! *cries* Excellent chapter by the way-very unique, having only talking during the entire thing and still having it be extremely long and fulfilling. I do feel sorry for poor Edgar though-going completely and utterly insane while something is trying to reach him...

Well done. the dialogue wasn't overwhelming and you portrayed Edgar's descent into madness very realistically. Especially when he was babbling. I thought Nny was sweet, bless his homicidal heart. "You read those?!" etc.

I think Scriabin really has been trying to help Edgar fighting off the monster, whatever it is, although he did lie and use Edgar in the past. I feel this story seems to be coming to a close. Hopefully it won't be so soon.

I feel like I have a fever. That, or my stomach imploded.

As the chapter went on, and Johnny started to actually talk to Scriabin... that was just mind-blowing. Particularly the moment where he called him 'Scri'. The role reversal... in hindsight it seems inevitable, but I didn't see it coming till it was right there in front of me.

So many questions, and it would be just like this story to leave them hanging... what happened to Squee, what is the monster, really...

At this point, I have no doubt that Scriabin was actually on Edgar's side. at least, in a round about way. (And I dearly hope my confidence isn't misplaced.)

This -could- be the last chapter. It rather looks like it.

I love how it was all dialogue. It was a nice way of writing, kepping it mysterious and yet nice. Casual... sort of.
