Well I think I like your version better than the cartoon's version. In fact I know I do.

I am not sure if you meant for chapter 11 to be the end? I feel that you can take this story further but I understand if you want to end it here. At least you didn't really end it on a cliffhanger like... Lisa heart moniter suddenly stopped or Rick looks up to see a missle heading his way. What will happen next?!? Thank god for that. Oh man those suck.

This is an awesome story! Why haven't you finished it? It's very well written and very enjoyable to read, I even found myself crying through some of it. I want to see Rick and Lisa's romance blossom into something so special and maybe even get married soon. Please tell me that you're updating with another chapter soon, okay? I'll be checking for the next chapter.

That almost sounded like what I understand the results of the attack were in the actual Macross, except the bridge of the SDF survived. I don't know about the crew though but I'm guessing they survived as well since the bridge seemed to be functional in Marcoss II.

Great chapter! and great flashback, we never did get to see any more of that scene in the original robotech episode, and you filled in the gap really nicely. I can't wait till the next chapter! Rick certainly does have a lot to think about and prepare for as to how to help Lisa through her tough times. Please update soon!!

After the intense emotional moments in the previous chapter, this one is a nice and uplifting break. Despite the fact that Rick and Lisa will have a lot of people to mourn and a lot to rebuild, the future doesn't seem so dark. It is a rough beginning, but a beginning nonetheless.

As a side note, it is always good to see Rick repenting from his past misbehavior. :D
