Snape is very, very right. The loss of one cannot change them from winning to defeat. It's war and in war, sacrifices have to be made... even if they are The Boy Who Lived. Ron's reaction to Harry's death is excellent; as is Hermione's. I can't believe how perfectly that was done. They grieve, but Ron is grieving in an entirely different way. *gleams*

Neville is jumping in and out of my mind like a hyper toad. ^__^ Can't wait to see more!

Poor Neville. Snape may come to regret stomping so badly on Neville's self-worth and self-confidence. I'll bet more is in store for him than simply being viewed as cannon fodder, though.

This is a good twist. I especially like Ron getting a good role as a strategist. Hope Hermione gets one too. Keep it up.

i always thought snape should mastermind voldemorts downfall, he does, after all, know him best.

i'd like to know the history between lupin and snape though!
