This was funny, and I contend that Siegfried would make a much better president than the election-stealing, warmongering Shrub. No offense if you like him. Anyway, good fic.

That was funny! I must say that I've never seen an unedited version of Get Smart, but I am familar with the editing on Hogan's Heroes. I hate it when they edit my favorite shows, but I do have to point out that they don't edit as bad as some stations, like Halmark for example. Their editing is so bad that even if you haven't seen the episode before it would leave you scratching your head and wondering what was going on. Maybe someday, TVLand won't do this anymore.

It always bummed me out that TVLand cut Seigfried from this episode, it ruins the whole complexion of the storyline.

Hey, TVLand . . . if you have to edit (SIGH!!), PLEASE, hire someone who knows the episodes well so they can be "edited" properly. Or, better yet, don't edit AT ALL. Give us the real thing!

Oh dear. I don't think I'd like Siggy as President of United States or as the ruler of the world, but I *would* like to see Siegfried in ALL 14 episodes! I can see that you were venting your anger when you wrote this! But it was Very funny.
