You could express well Anakin's self-complacent features. A good fic that goes well along the one about Obi-Wan.

Overall, I liked it. Quoting his own thoughts seemed a bit weird in a first-person narration, but other than that, I thought it was good.

This is very well written and totally in character. Anakin's voice is shwn excellently here. Veyr well done. One thing though.. it's 'council' not 'counsel'
