I like this story about Blair's loyalty and how he would never quit something once begun, so he wasn't going to leave Jim ever.

Really only have 2 comments. First, You refer to Blair as a "professor". Unless this is an AU where he received his Ph.D. (and was hired on as professor), he was never a professor. He was a teaching fellow and would have been called Mr. Sandburg or Blair by his students.
Second is my personal preference for longer fics :-)

Great story! I love how you showed that Blair never quits, and I love how you wrote the guys. I especially love the thought of Blair having been in NC for a while. Very nice mention of Duke there.

This was a great fic. Any plans on continuing it? I'd love to read what Simon thinks of it. Maybe somehow Blair gets to use his skills to help out one of the detectives? Anyway, good job and I'd love to see more!
