A great crossover story of Rurouni Kenshin and Lord of the Rings. I like the view point and how you pieced the story together. Great job John!

About Custer, you have the history wrong. He and his calvery attacked a native village site because he wanted to prove him self. It wasn't out of being brave it was out trying to prove him self in the military. And they wanted to force native folk into those concentration camps called reservations.

What can I say besides the obvious fact that I love this story. I love the friendships you thought up (Perfect!). Said about the twins and girls (soulmates good idea though). You're a good writer, honey and I can't wait to see what other fics you cook up! I would absolutely love to see another LOTR crossover again! Inuyasha maybe? Keep going!

LOVE IT!

Well, here we are. At the end of a very long journey. I can say with absolute honesty that this is one of my most favorite fics ever. I meant what I said before, you have found a fan for life in me and I will be the first to read/review anything else you put out (I'm an avid Stargate fan, so I'll be counting the days until I get to reat that).

I was rather disappointed that Omasu and Ochika didn't stay in Middle-Earth. Ever since they fought with the Elven weapons, I imaging them to have their own little fairytale romance and live happily ever after with the twins.


Kenshin and Frodo passing the torch to the next generation and sailing off to Valinor is certainly appropriate (though Kaoru would be damned before she'd let him go without her). They both sacrificed themselves for the sake of the future, essentially becoming living martyrs. They both deserve the peace of the Undying Lands.


But I wonder, how exactly does Kenshin plan on getting there from Tokyo? After all, it took two wizards just to get him to Middle-Earth. Whatever the case, all I can say is "Good show! Full marks! And don't ever stop writing!"

sorry, but i don't have time to sign in, at school and only have like two minutes left of tech! i love the ending! it is really good...i am just wondering if maybe Kaoru was also asked to go to the Elf haven, for i know she wouldn't leave kenshin...but ya...i love your story! and i am glad that you finally finished it...i actually forgot about it til i saw it in my inbox...heh...^-^ well very good job!

This was well worth the wait one of the largest chapters and a magnificent epilogue to one of the greatest crossovers I have ever had the honour to read. I particuarly like how everyone related to each other, marvellous interactions and overall a touching epilogue.

Rurouni Kenshin and the Lord of the Rings was a great classic if I do say so myself. From beginning to end it was well written with marvellous characterisation, well done character relationships and an excellent crossing over of Rurouni Kenshin and Lord of the Rings.

Hiko actually kneeling down? i cant imagine that. great chapter just like all the others with humor blended perfectly. the next chapter going to be the last? aw.. another great story coming to an end.

even so, can a make a last minute request? since its the last chapter and all the japan characters and middle earth characters are together, not mentioning how mistified they(ME char) were at the display of the other party's sword skills, could you add in a little party which includes a competition or some friendly sparring match? this way, it would be more fun and exciting adding a twist to the grand finale.

Man, I definately enjoyed reading all of it so far.
I hope you get all the time you need to finish the rest of the story and put it to rest.
