Very pleasantly unusual for your works, it's reasonably long, which I would encourage you to try again when you feel like it.

In particular, I'd be very interested to see how Sarah acclimates to being the Goblin Queen, and to the various politics (and goblins).

Because he's a man and they rarely just come right out and say anything about their emotions. And because, on top of that, he's a fae male. Throw in his natural tendency to talk in riddles and it was a miracle that they were even able to hold a conversation.

I must admit, I panicked a little when I was halfway through this, couldn't see the word "complete" and that it was last updated in 2003, I was terrified this would be another amazing fic that would never have an ending, but it did, and it was beautiful, and I love it!
