I wouldn't say thats like Yuki. Plus, I personally get tired of all these fics where this basic plot structure follows:
1. Yuki treats Shuichi like dirt.
2. Shuichi angsts.
3. Yuki kinda angsts.
4. Yuki apologizes in some way to Shuichi.
5. Shuichi forgives him.
But, I agree with you too, in that it's nice to see Shuichi win once in a while.

this was a nice, different take with yuki actually kissing him in public ^_^ (Shuichi would have probably melted if it werent for a real live concert) haha, ^_^ ... in the beginning it was sad but i'm glad yuki at least realized that he wanted his shuichi with him ^_^
