You really seem to have a good grasp of Evelyn's 'voice' in this story. Writing dialogue that is believable and 'true to the characters' is difficult. I know, I've tried it. Even the professional writers who work for television shows have trouble from time to time. But you really pull it off here. Nice work.

You know... I was pretty confident that a one-shot fic with 123 reviews HAD to be a treat. And even still, I was floored by this.

I've always enjoyed first person narrative, but this one blew my socks off. You did a tremendous job of telling this story from Evelyn's perspective... but also capturing the personalities of Rick and Jonathan too. In fact, I could completely visualize all this happening, from Rick's impromptu proposal to Jonathan's grumblings. The balance of romance and humor was dead on, making this a completely charming epilogue to a great movie.

The movie's ending was great, but I love Your ending more :)
