Wow, that was the greatist story ever, I loved the whole vampire thing, and specially loved the ending when Erik said "Christine you're mine forever."

Oh but this was *fun*. What a fresh perspective on things and a nice twist on the classic ending. great great stuff. One small nitpick, and it might not even apply since there are a bazillion different versions of vampire stories, but I was under the impression that in order for someone to *become* a vampire, he must drink some of the vampire's blood after getting his own blood drained. Ohterwise, he just dies. Then again, the majority of my vampire knowledge comes from Buffy. :-D

The despair scene was good, but I love the ending...

Aha! I loved this chapter. Exactly the kind of tension, distrust, and hesitancy I would expect. Very nicely done Christine, in my opinion. You solved the problems I had with it before. I hope you continue this, and soon.

Oh no! Oh no!! Oh, she can't have gone! Poor Erik - what on earth is he going to do now?! I loved the way you included the more unsavoury side of being a vampire, and also the way he would have known it was her even if he hadn't been a vampire! And VON KROLOCK! YAY! I haven't read a decent Tanz story for *ages*! I don't suppose we'll be seeing any more of him, will we? I love this :)

An update...long have I waited for an update.

I was a bit worried that Christine would immediately capitulate to the whole vampire concept. I like the way she's worried about Erik, and is discomfitted as to the new direction their relationship is taking.

"We cannot build a relationship of trust if there are secrets between us."--great lines in here!

That was a good touch, having her leave Erik with the uncertainty of whether she can forgive him or not.

And as usual, you've left us hanging...
