I enjoyed reading the first chapter; I think your story is going to be very good. The fight scenes were written quite well, I'm eager to see what happens. I only have one piece of advice, and that is to choose one POV and stick with it. The beginning of your story is confusing; you have Pony referring to himself as "I" sometimes, and other times you just refer to him as Pony. Your story is very good though.

aww that poem part was so tear-jerking. and "nothing gold can stay" i was seriously afraid you would kill him. so glad to know that's not the case. but this story is EXCELLENT i hope you know by now. it's all manners of correct and everyone's IN CHARACTER and it's angsty and ooh just so much goodness. haha.
