This is a really, really impressive piece of work! I could see every bit happening! I know this sounds odd, but "David's Legacy" is probably my favorite "A.I" fanfic on this whole website. I really wish there was more to it, but hey, I know that sometimes writing stuff for the same story can get old, and other, more important, things come along.

If you ever put more up for this story, or continue it in another, I can guarantee that I'll read it!

This is a really, really good fanfic, I agree with what Matrix Refugee says.

At long last, the next installment! And it was well worth the waiting. Very, very suspenseful ( I know I posted a comment on the messageboard, but this is so good, I just had to add another comment)

The set-up in this is excellently executed, losts of atmosphere, detailled without getting burdensome. I could SEE it happening, in my mind's eye. That's how well written this really is (also helps to have a very vivid imagination!)!

...um, let me get this straight, David was connected to something in Cybertronics? Sorry, feeling kind of sleepy so that's all I understood of what Alfred said. Maybe tomorrow I'll get it.

What on earth is going to happen to David next?

Hehe. I like this. Seems to be an alternate timeline where Allen Hobby didn't commit suicide after David's disappearance (I'm not lying. It was covered up, and quite a while after Martin grew up *he became a house designer!*, Cybertronics announced that Hobby died in a ambicopter, or whatever it was, crash).

During the Summer before the movie premiered, a bunch of guys at Microsoft dubbed themselves the Puppetmasters and proceeded to weave a story around a murder in the A.I. world, a sort of full-scale epilogue to the movie itself. It started with posters, giving a phone number and a website, and it just took off from there (I've heard that a combined effort of players ran through 3 months worth of puzzles in a WEEK, and someone attempted to brute force a binary puzzle and took out the server! 7 thousand strong came together by the end of the game. Awesome bonding experience).

In any movie i have ever seen that has a brain connected to a computer it always spells disastar to where the brain is connected to I.E the lawnmower man for an example

This is great! I think an A.I AU is a good idea since personally, although I loved the film, I was a little disappointed with the ending. Only one request...well two actually: get Joe in there! ^_^ And please update soon!

There's a lot to like here. For example, I like the way the story started with recalling the characters' "ghosts", a point so vital to film's theme. I want more, too.
