This is impressive. I have to say there are not many horror stories found in this area but I have to say I read many good ones. This is one of those that would stand out on here -- this is more original than fan fic. Stay with the genre because you have a real future writing it, especially when it comes to writing original horror. I am writing one playing with the dogma of the Johovah's witnesses, and that would be up on my journal site -- when I don't know but it would be there within the next hour (not the modblog one either.)

Oh man. I was there, I was really there. This is not only a beautiful piece, it is vibrant and alive. I feel the heat and the wind, I see the children and the desert and the old man. Cherry Blossom-sama, I believe you have outdone yourself, I really believe you have. :o) And the fact that this is a piece speaking out against injustice only makes it better. Keep speaking, we hear you. ::huggles::

Wow.
I'm not sure why you posted this under the Bible section, but I'm glad you did because otherwise I probably would never have read it. You're an amazing writer. Nothing more can I say.

*smacks "O.o" on the head with a mallet.*

Oh man, chika. You don't write, you weave in silk and satin and thorns and lay such a pretty garment out for us to wear, be caressed and bloodied.

And with the Matthew quote: "And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell." Ah, but who is the old man saying it to? Angelo? Does he mimic the polititians who mock the victims? Or is there some deeper symbolism that I can't think of right now because it's only eight o'clock?

Medicine Man.like, my mother (who I don' liv with anymore) always got real bitchy when other people used Indian phrasing and all if they weren't Indian. And often it ends up as a joke or a cliche - but the mark of a good artist is when they can write a cliche and make you forget it *is* one.

Haunting and mesmerizing. I like, Sakura-san. ^^
