That was so sad, I felt so bad for Legolas and Thranduil but I'm glad they'll be able to recover from the double loss.

I loved the way you made King Thranduil be. I always knew that he was a kind hearted Elf. Legolas was great, too. :-)

Excellent! I loved it! And what a way to end it! I had tears in my eyes-and on my face-during parts of it but I'm so glad little Legolas is well! And thranduil too. It's nice not to read an evil thranduil fic. Sometimes they're good, but sometimes the mere idea makes my blood boil! Love the stories Jay. I'm off to read some more!

Hey, ye told the stories from yer other fic (soz but i can't remeber the name of it)! I love wolfhounds - they're so cute. I've had a few over the years and despite what most think they're not rough - they're really gentle and caring of little ones (I have a picture of me sister, aged 3, asleep against one). I just finished Chapter 5... you brought me to tears. I love Thranduil, although I admit I picture him as a bit more of a bastard most of the time, and I love that you haven't made him Evil! I can't wait to read what happens next, so I'm going to go do just that. Great story so far!

It is so very good to see Thranduil and Legolas laughing and enjoying life once more. Mourning the loss of a loved one is never easy, but then life does continue; it is all part of the healing process.

I admit to tearing up at Thranduil's "dream." The petals on his chest though prove that it was more than mere dreamstuff. :) Very nicely done. Then when they find the lissuin. This is indeed a most magical day. :) I am very glad that it grows in profusion so they may take some.

Thranduil is indeed a good and wise king, and a most wonderful father. He knows how to make his child feel safe without treating him like a child.

I love the way you have Thranduil so in touch with the world that is his very own. That is magical, and one of the things that is just so very elvish. :)

:) I wondered if the great, good king could deny his son a puppy. I really like that Legolas had named him Huan. Very fitting. I am glad that Legolas will have something to care for, he needs that now.
