AAck!! where's the rest of it? This is shaping up to be a really good story. Great concept BTW. Writing & characterization is great PLUS you don't use the word gobsmacked or bint in every other line - bonus. I like an intelligent Spike who actually speaks like he went to university. Oh yeah - I think you spelled 'hydrate' wrong somewhere...don't forget to spellcheck.
