I have mixed feelings about this fic. I'm not a big romance fan (especially when the involved characters aren't both original)...and I might be bias because I like Red better than Purple. :D

To answer your questions...Yes, ZaiFae is a Mary-Sue. She surpasses all her fellow students in her studies, is lusted after by the leaders of Irk, has a relationship with Purple, (who I'm assuming is your favourite character?) defeats Red in battle (his strong-suit), and threatens to outgrow the pair. She's the same gender as you...gracious, her name is your username!

I don't think ZaiFae is a Mary Sue, though I do see how she could be considered one. It would be realy neat if there was a sequel and your writing style is fine the way it is! Cool story, by the way. ^__^

Yes, I admit that I've been reading this story for a couple of days and have been neglecting to review. Bad me! Well hey, here's one now. I don't think that there's anything you should change about your writing style. We all have our own, and that's what makes us unique. If we all sounded the same reading...as well as writing...would be awfully boring, don't you think? And for Mary Sues, who cares whether or not this was or was not? It was a good story. That's all that matters. I'd like to see you write more. I've sure written a lot of things that could be considered Mary Sue. Mary Sues are an expression of longing, I think, and there's nothing wrong with dreaming. We couldn't live without it. It's all a matter of taste. If you're getting something from the whole experience, it's worth it. I'd like to talk to you someday about MPD, should you be willing...I have it too. Fun, eh? Well, what else to say, really? This review has probably creeped you out. Oh well. Great story!! I loved the ending. What a twist. (insert witty closing remark here)

i loved this story and am sad to see it go. as for the poll, some may consider her a mary sue, but now a days, its IMPOSSIBLE to make a character that isnt one so i dont blame you. i have a mary sue character ^^' tallest Purple's daughter. oh well, it doesnt matter. i love any story with the tallests in it.

now for a sequel. YES! make one. the ending was incredibly unique and a wonderful twist to the actual tv show. keep writing! ^^

No, I've been looking around to find out exactly what a Mary Sue is because I kept getting different answers, and I don't think this is a Mary Sue. It's more a fancharacter fic, but not quite self-insertion (cause ZaiFae's an Irken an' all). Anyway, far as I know, Mary Sues are perfect, everyone likes 'em, they seem innocent, etc, etc. I even found this site about Mary Sues, and it was called The Mary Sue Society or something like that. Weird.
