This was lovely. It addresses the concept of redeemed!Snape without becoming maudlin. I've always felt that there must be *some* positive aspects, morally speaking, to Snape's current situation, and I enjoyed your exploration of the topic.

Wow! Truly excellent. That Snape's bad decision should be his saving grace -- well, all I can say is *powerful*, *powerful*, *powerful*. Snape was delightfully in character. Your descriptions were wonderful, too -- I am very impressed.

I have never considered that the Mark was, in it's own way, a good thing. Not that it's good -- but the effect it's had on Snape is profound, and have changed him for the better. You've influenced me more than you can know. :-)
