Yeah, I think you're right, Brad is pretty down to earth. Very logical. I also think that he's very good at reading emotions and catching things other people miss easily, whilel still bweing in complete control of hismelf. I didn't know he was a mercenarie! I lvoe mercenaries! I have no idea why, but they are SO cool. Like Jack Scisco. OMG they are both so hot... Naywa, Good story, keep it up.

This bugs me. I haven't watched Zoids in so long that I coudln't really tell if they were Ooc or not. So far it's good, I'm going to read the rest. I do howver... not know who Naomi is. I'm going to look it up... They seemed ok to me... maybe a little serious, but liek you said, it makes sense.

I really have to go back and reread this from the beginning, as I am really awful lately at reading the updated chapters on ff.net. You handle the alternating scenes between your original characters and the Zoids characters nicely. I can't respond to that portion right now because I have to refamiliarize myself with the hints that have been given in the earlier chapters.

However, I can (and MUST) comment on the scenes with Harry and with the Fuzzy Pandas.

I love love LOVE how you've portrayed Mary Champ. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I knew she wasn't a bitchy twit underneath. I keep toying with an idea to write a Mary perspective of the episode she appeared in and this makes me think about it more seriously! Her silent show of support was very heartwarming.

I think you made a believable set of parents for Harry. The weepy mom thing actually lends credence to Harry's being attracted to someone like Leena - who is almost the polar opposite.

And I had to laugh at Lineback - he was so much the same in Wolfkcing's fic (where he falls for Dawn DeChar). Something about his appearance makes him seem more like the softhearted type than either Kirkland or Omari. That scene was both funny and downright sweet. Gotta love Keema. And Kirkland's "Quick grab it before he drools all over it" - what a great line!

Bit and Leena really do have a brother-sister relationship here...to wit, "I met Harry's parents" - "We're thrilled" heh.

Harry's explanation to his parents also helps make a future between him and Leena seem believable. Yeah, sometimes a rude wake-up call can make the world of difference.

Also loved Jamie's reaction to seeing Doc with Pierce.

You know what? This is my favorite chapter of your's so far. It was loaded with moments that amused me.

But first.

Harry's confruntation (all of it) was well handled and funny when he let them in on his feelings a little.

“Harry, I will thank you not to address your Mother in that tone.” Aiden said sternly.

Plus. His parents themselves were well animated.

I'm sure Mookie will love what you've done with Mary too!

Those girls, Mia, Keema and Dinah? Are very intersting.

Gotta love the Fuzzy Pandas tho. MUST love them!:

“Beat again.” Omari sighed. “Kirkland, this is getting depressing.”

Kirkland didn’t answer. Lineback was eyeing the snack food bar.

“I’m hungry.” He said.

“Yeah,” Kirin said in a low, but still rather dangerous, voice. “In your arms.”

The other elements you bring together are pretty damn cool and well handled. I mean Pierce's joing the team looks like it will actuall make a difference rather just tossing her on the team for the sake of doing it. Ya know what I mean?

Yeah,(about your comment at the end of chapter 6) reviews are good for that. Pointing out things that you might have half KNOWN and causing you realize more things you might not have otherwise about the characters. Happens to me all the time with the Anizoid fic!

How can you not love a chapter with the Fuzzy Pandas? The team with many names! Zaber Fangs, Tigers, Fuzzy Pandas, and lest we forget Bit's last suggestion - "The Monkeys" ha!

Will be interesting to see how well Pierce functions with the rest of the team, and how things progress with her followers after her.

Kinda cute with Bit trying to pump Brad for info about his relationship with Naomi, and Brad's refusal to dish. I think that kept Brad well in character.
