That was fascinating, Jaid Skywalker! A little puzzling -- are these other characters with the Japanese-sounding names out of some other fandom, or your own creation?

Constructive criticism? M -- there are quite a lot of characters being introduced in a short chapter -- hard to keep them straight. Maybe you could let some of them go nameless? I mean, all the elves except Celebden get killed right off, so I didn't need to try & remember their names... maybe you could just name the mother, and let the others be "her husband", "her brother (or servant or whatever)"?

Same with the characters back in the village -- maybe the reader will get to know all of them as the story progresses, but it's kind of like meeting a roomful of people, confusing. Don't mean to be critical, tho' -- I did enjoy it!
