Rose, I'm on the American side of the pond, but it's a long story -- I was raised in England, but I'm a US citizen and have been living in various parts of it since I was eleven or twelve. I never really learned to sort out my spelling (Kerb! Kerb!) but I'm trying to standardise it now, and British spelling is more fun :)

Everything she does tends to explode!" Haha, well, I think that's all I'll say. It feels wrong to tease someone who really doesn't like writing filk but can't stop. ^_^

I can't, because my parents' bedroom is right next to mine and they don't take kindly to badly-sung versions of 'H to the Izzo' at 6 am. And when you can't sing in the shower, you sing in public. So sing in the shower, it saves embarassment all around and gives us these nice little songfilks to enjoy.
