fluff is always ok! But the whole premise of the story...ew. I mean really, ew. I am very glad Tamora Pierce changed it. However, the story is written very well, so I might forgive you for the plot...if I can pet your kitty.;) keep writing, I want to find out how Roger comes around to liking Thom...maybe you could write a chapter in his POV?

I never knew someone else thought of slash in this series! It always seemed to me that it would be natural that Roger was...Yeah. Alex too. I was gonna write a fic about Alex and Roger, but my friends (and anyone else i mentioned it to) told me that if i did they would lynch me, so i refrained. I'm happy to see another open-minded person writing fanfiction!
