I loved this - I was looking for some post-episode Women of Qumar fic because I thought CJ's reaction in the episode was a little too impulsively emotional to be just empathy. I was convinced that it was something personal that had happened.

The way you fulfilled that was believable and moving, and the characters were spot on. I'll definitely be passing this along!

I love this story. I think, if it were legal, I would take this story to a southern state and marry it. It's wonderfully written; all the characters are dead on. Great.

Wow. It's three am, so that's abot all that I can manage right now. I love your writing, and your characterazatio is just too good. Toby's spot on, which is hard because he's a hard man to understand. Sam's dialogue is perfect. Honestly you could be a little more sympathetic to Josh, but you're pretty damn close. Let me just say that I was able to listen to Leonard Cohen while reading your fic, and your writing was able to stand up to it. 'It's hard to hold of anyone who's reaching for the for the sky just to surreneder...Like any dealer he was just waiting for the card that was so high and wild that he'd never have to deal another...' to give you and example. litsen to his "the Stranger Song" it fits oddly well. And you got that they say 'I'm just saying...' just as much as they say 'That's what I'm saying" on Mad About You. Please forgive me this makes no sense, I've been running tired for at least four hours, I have no mind left. Tomorrow I'l gie you something better in gratitude for this funny beatiful peice that pulled me from my darkness in forever, but was just close enough to the pit that I could reach it. Thank you. This was a different sort of story but really good. Rose and Ernie vanishing was a nice touch.

first off, my name is brAHnn, not brAnn. second, i have read a lot of Cj-based stories. third, i think this is possibly the best i have ever read. and i swear, if you don't continue this sort of stuff, i will hunt you down. (beat) *grins*

I went on a trip once with a friend for 9 or 10 days and she brought like 24 pairs of underwear, plus bought some on the trip... Looking forward to reading this story.

I loved this story when I first read it on the yahoo groups and it's still a favorite of mine.
