I just read Prayer and this was just as spectacular. You capture Luka fantastically. In times of need, anger, frustration and vulneribility. (spelling) The only word to describe it is beautiful.

oh my goodness, that was beautiful. perhaps i should use these stories as my background on luka, my subtext for him. they certainly feel just as authentic as anything tptb can come up with, perhaps even more so.

i also loved the way you said "the man." kind of illuminates the way he thinks of himself. or thought of himself, during that time.

so sad. but entralling and utterly bautiful. you're very talented.
