It also gave Cole a chance to move beyond the desperation of trying to prove himself, to the relief from realising he truly did have a choice and evil could not arbitrarily claim him. The fact that Phoebe and the rest of the family were of a different opinion was no longer strong enough to shake a core belief in himself. Not even despair would keep him from being the man he wanted to be. Phoebe could now trust in a future for them because his stability was not dependent upon wishful thinking or denial. Thank you. |
