Yep, that was pretty much my reaction when I walked out of that movie, too. I wanted to punch someone. Hard. Preferably Spiner. But I got over it. Upon a second viewing, much later, I learned to understand it from an artistic point of view. But that doesn't mean I like it.

I feel the same way! I (heart) data SO much! It was such an injustice that they killed the coolest character on the show! guess they really DID want the show to end! ::sobbing:: Brent Spier? plaguing film? I dont think so...::lip trembling: hes a terrific actor!! ::crying::

Idiot? Nope. Just darn happy that Data/Spiner will never ruin another ST movie.

The ending was perfect. And everyone ended up where they belong, especially Riker and Troi.
