Just read the whole thing - wow! If they ever make MutantX the movie, or start publishing novels, this should definitely be in the top running. Excellent plot structure, characterization, detail. Just the right amount of everything. Fantastic job! I really enjoyed it. I'm not normally much of a Jesse fan (the show doesn't show us much of his inner self, does it?) but you might just convert me yet. :D Kudos!

I love your description of the team's individual emotions. It was interesting to see that Jesse felt alone in the beginning of the story and in this chapter Brennan is a bit jealous of the attention Jesse is receiving. Love the protectiveness of Shalimar, the sexual tension between Shalimar and Brennan, and the description of how everyone's emotions sneak up on Emma.

Glad to finally get the back-story on Joshua - and an interesting story it is. I liked how you had both Adam and Shalimar telling the story to their respective partners at the same time.

Good job. On to the next chapter...

Just started getting into all things Mutant X. Especially anything Jessiecentric. I love this story. Your attention to detail is excellent. The angst (and I love angst) is all well written. I can truly feel Jessie's thoughts and feelings as described. But look where you left us. OH NO!
