The early imagery really worked for me. I could see how she could develop a sort of demon fighting version of shell shock. It'd probably occur if she failed to save an innocent in her complacency. I don't think she'd turn a back on one, even if she was tired. However, if she did just suddenly become not able to take it anymore and she ran, I'm not sure she'd be so smug about leaving her family and her responsibilities. Giving the benefit of the doubt that she did suddenly give in to her fear (ala mermaid episode), or her anger for the elders, or whatever, I still just don't see it in Piper's character.

I did like the story though. It works better not associating it with any one sister, and making it an open-ended guessing game of who it was. Insert whoever you like/dislike here.

Hmm, well only really would work for Piper cos of the wedding band, unless it was Phoebe S4, or AU. But despite that, you're right it does work best for Piper. Good fic.

This is really good, I think that if any of them were too leave it would probably be Piper, though in a few episodes with the Cole thing Phoebe seemed really close.

Ew!! Maybe you can nudge one of those other readers over towards her, but I certainly don't play that way. I am most certainly NOT a Piper fan. I tolerate her a little more than Ms. Phoebe "Waste of Space" Halliwell but I can't really stand her either. All she does is complain about wanting to be normal and ask "What's happening?" all the time. It grows tiresome. Persoanlly, I like Prue. She's dead now of course. C'est la vie.

So, now that you're going to write again, when are you going to bring Lierre back to life? And I don't want to hear any of that bunk about how it's old and has already been done to death. Lierre was a cool character. He was fun. Besides, it's about time someone wrote an intelligent, charming and wholesome man into a romance with Prue. Okay yes, she's dead but she came back. Why can't he?
