My names Travis, I write another Bat related fic called TwofaceTales - you might know it. Sorry, I just felt like tooting my own horn. =)

Main reason I mention that is that I feel I know a thing or three about Batman etc. I must confess as of yet I havent read your fic in as much depth as I'd like - after skimming it, I thought Id check out the reviews first, and would just like to take issue with one previous reviewer.

There is an awful lot more to Gotham City than 'Batman and Co.' Its Gotham City, not Batmanville. Its a sprawling metropolis full of thousands and thousands of people from all different walks of life. Having skim read the fic, I think its a fascinating concept you've created here, one that we should explore more often. Life in Gotham that doesn't necessarily revolve around the bat or his friends and enemies.

I would also point out the reviewer appears to be more than a little biased. By already admitting to a small telling off, they are clearly devaluing their own review.

I can see the reviewers point - some people think Batman fics should only be about Batman. I'm not from this school of thought (Gotham Central anyone?) as I've explained above, and look forward to reading in more depth some of ur work. Please do not allow yourself to be disheareted by a rogue reviewer - Lord knows Im guilty of that, and I would strongly advise against it as it will deprive us all of a very talented writer.

Multiple chapters and stories for this series have been posted by Query (20 or 30 chapters!), and there is still no sign of any Batman characters ever appearing. How long are we supposed to wait?

Yes, the writing is of a very high standard, but like Coca Cola said, people come to this section to read about Batman & Co. And there simply isn't any Batman in it. It would be better off posted on FictionPress.Net.

not much else to say other than I am enjoying these but it is annoying so many semiliterates around here can't grasp taht these stories are in Gotham City, like it says at the top of every , but "Batman, The Riddler, and all other DC created Gothamites" aren't around yet. Coca Cola, are you really that dim that you don't understand that?
Grow up people, just because something is a little different from what you're used to doesn't make it wrong.
