That was great. But that doesnt lessen any of the hurt that I got from it throughout.
Truly? Your plot was AMAZING, and for some scenes you got everything perfect, but I think I considered your writing to be a bit like mine - a tad unreal/surreal/whatever-you-want-to-call-it. It had a TON of angst too. I was kindof wondering why he didnt just try and off himself if he was somewhere where he didn't belong, once his own life hadn't happened and didn't matter. I know that if faced with the same situation, I would have. I wouldn't have been able to adjust. But other than that one thing that seemed a bit off, it WAS an amazing story. And really? It wouldnt have made much of a story if he had died - it would have been about eight-some chapters less and therefore truly NOT as good a story; I just couldnt quite connect with that - but that's me, a person who DWELLS on death and only doesnt go through with anything because I don't particuarily care one way or the other. Plus, my family would get a bit upset and I dont want to do that to them - I'm not a jerk, just a confused little kid (on the inside. on the outside I'm like 20 years older). But, yes, about the story: I loved the idea that DRACO could have taken Harry's place and that HE was the one that did all that stuff from the books - without, of course, the pesky little problem of the curse-scar. And the stuffed animal? Truly inspired.
I also loved the crazy sheep man - a bit like Aberforth's thing with goats? Hilarious is all I know how to describe THAT as.

this fic is bloody brilliant. I read the first four chapters on but then you didn't continue posting them. And now I can't tell you how thrilled I was when I saw the story here. The plot is really original and it was well written. The only thing that seemed a bit weird to me was the friendship between Harry and Malfoy, but otherwise, it was amazing.

i just re-read this story (im reviewin in this chap cos you cant review in the same chap twice) but i noticed you said that you might do a sequel. i know you wrote that chapter awhile ago, over a year, but i think you should do it.

I was thinking maybe either Harry Ron and Hermione and maybe Draco from origional world get knocked into Draco's world where sirius is alive, while not actually taking over the other persons body like harry did with evans. that would be heaps cool!

Or maybe Draco Ron and Hermione get sent to Harry's world, then then they can be the ones who are having trouble adjusting like harry did!

I was just thinking, these would be really cool stories that i'd love to read, if you would do them. Please consider it? :) i just really loved this story. ^_^

I'm confused by Gallandro 83's chapter 10 review. I think he/she doesn't seem to realize that Harry Evans is no more, that once again he is Harry Potter.

What is Gallandro 83 babbling about 'reinstate him in his college'? There was no indication that Harry Potter ever further in education than Hogwarts and possible some Auror training. Harry Evans on the otherhand, that was an excuse he used to steal away from his old job. There was no indication he was pursuing higher education, just reading on his own.

Ron? Why would he be disappointed about not learning dueling from a person who he views as a squib? Really, I think he/she needs to rethink the basis of his/her chapter 10 comment.

I did enjoy the story, but I too am curious as to what happened to Harry Evans. Did he die or once again did he manage to survive? Even if Harry Evans came back to a usable body, he would have to learn about his father and the wizarding world. Of course, Harry Evans could just deny the whole thing and try to what? Find employment in the muggle world? With what skills? This is all assuming that he didn't just die.

I'm curious as to what the others think of the Sword of Gryffindor, which leads to the question what did Draco kill the Basilisks with in his encounter with the king of snakes.

I have to say I really enjoyed your story and found it original.

The way you constructed the Alternate world to reflect the 'real' world made sense and linked well.

PLEASE!! Do a sequel telling us what happens in the Alternate world once Harry Evans is returned to his body. Will he go back to the bookshop? Will Remus & Sirius take him in and look after him because of who his father is? Will Draco look after him? Or at the very least will they keep in contact with him if he does return to the muggle world?

I’m dying to see him have a happy ending and life, I read your ‘outtake’ following Evan’s life since childhood and I found it so sad and emotional I nearly cried. I feel like I want to hunt him down give him a hug and look after him!

I beg you to give this boy a happy life and conclusion to this story because he has had such a hard unloved life.

It would also be good to see what happens in this world following the demise of Voldermorte, and how the other characters (Ron, Draco, Hermione, Sirious, Remus etc.) all react to what happened.

But please tell me what happens to Harry Evans, it’s killing me!
