I take back what I implied in my comment for "Vanilla". You aren't ONE of my favorite KaiJou authors -- You have become THE favorite. And in two fics, now that's an accomplishment. ^_^

I reall am enjoying you exposition in these fics. It comes in short bursts of sensory input; scents, colors, textures. It makes the reading both quick and worth savoring. Yeah, that's the right thing to decribe your writing: something to savor. Like good coffee or a cool breez on a hot day.

I like the bitter-sweetness of Seto and Joey's narrative here. The regret of what once was, what they feel they're losing, what they might have had. It juxtaposes with the heated memories of the first burst of passion so oddly, yet it works, especially when you bring it all together in an ending that is just so sweet and perfect it almost brought tears to my eyes.

By the way, wonderful inclusion of "minor" (to the fic) characters: the girls, Yugi, Tristan, and Bakura. You give the reader a decent glimpse of them; a particular and unique feel to each. You manage to keep them from being cardboard props, but at the same time, avoid making them distracting.

Another wonderful piece that leaves me with a nice feeling of contentment. On that note, *looks at the clock* I have better go to bed and save the rest of these for later. Don't want to run out of a good thing. ^_^ Thanks for thenice dreams!

This is the most WONDERFUL, moving, absolutely precious-
I'll start again. You are a phenomenal author. The descriptions you give are almost too good to be true - there is even this awesome quality of being...surreal...
This fic is definitely going on my favorites list.

To tell you the truth, I didn't want to review for this story in the begining but when I read the ending I "had" to review. You portrayed the characters in such a manner that you actually felt Seto's satisfaction on not feeling anything when he looked at Joey, you felt his confusion toward the end and you felt his over flowing happiness when he had his love back in his arms. I have nothing but praise for this fic. Although (I hate to say this) I got lost during some of the swithching of characters point of views. Other than that the fic was "perfect".

Superb. I really loved it. You have a real talent for bringing out vivid emotion in your writing. This fic was rather similar to "Rescue", but also different in a way. It was more lamenting and yet exuberant at the same time. The use of flashbacks was also really pivotal in the piece.
Once again, loved it. Hope to see you writing more soon!
