Grub is so sweet! This fic was touching, especially the ending.

I think this fic explains the history of the relationship between Grub and Trouble very well, and in coherence with the canon. I can see how Trouble grew up hardened and tough, while Grub became so dependent on his brother. Well done.

But I still wonder what happened to the mother. It's rather abrupt. Maybe that can be better explained.
