I swear, this is definitely one of the best Jack and Irina stories I've come across yet... And this chapter/story/piece (whatever) most certainly had an element that the previous ones didn't--it really brought out the contrast of Jack versus Jack-that-was... And Irina versus Laura... It was a beautiful poetic read... Tangible, amazing and gorgeous... Totally utterly loved it!

See, now THAT was amazing. Really it was... and just how I myself see Jack... a prisoner in he simultaneous love and hate for this one woman... and it's impressive how you managed to tie in his desire for a "normal" life... like his daughter, and yet, not... Amazing little ficlet :)

I really always do enjoy a good posting with a Jack POV... and I really enjoyed yours. Especially the whole Jack vs Jack-that-was... that was just awesome, the way you separated the two of them... :-)

There aren't nearly enough Jack Bristow fic on ff.net, and when he is written, he isn't usually captured well. Terrific job on this fic. You described Jack and his inner turmoil very well. Keep writing. :)
